We Can Forever by Lenna Phoenix

Can I order a replacement body please? The one I've got constantly malfunctions.

The worst part of living with Fibromyalgia isn't the flare-ups, pain, or exhaustion.

Okay, who am I kidding? Yeah, it is.

All that, plus the fact that people can't see what's wrong with me--hello, invisible illness--so it's easier for them to think I'm lazy or faking it rather than that my body is constantly attacking itself.

It's made dating less than ideal in the tiny town of Pine Island.

So instead, I've focused on building my shop--Knit Happens--and the weekly Chronic Pain Crafters group, a group of women who truly understand each other.

I don't need anything more than that.

Until I get set up on a blind date with Michael Greer--a single dad, and our town's fire chief. And he wants more... of me. A flare-up in the middle of a date should scare him off, but it doesn't.

As a matter of fact, nothing seems to scare this man. He's used to fighting fires.

But fighting Fibro is a much different story...

REVIEW

This story was just amazing. I know someone who has this illness and it is not an easy thing to go through. People just don’t understand the pain that you deal with and explaining it is just as hard.

Hannah has Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder. She had to deal with a lot from people and moving to Pine Island is like starting over for her. She opens up a knitting shop and starts a chronic pain crafting group. She meets Michael on a blind date. They have mutual attraction, but Hannah doesn’t know if she can open up to him about her illness. How will he treat her when he finds out…

Michael is the Town’s fire chief, single and a dad. Moving back to town to be closer to his family and to raise his daughter, Katie was the right decision. Meeting Hannah was the cherry on the cake 😊 Getting her to open up to him about her secrets might take a bit…

Loved the story and loved the author for taking the challenge on writing about this topic 😊

Michael was amazing. Once he found out about Hannah’s illness he just wanted to take care of and he was so attentive with her. Hannah was awesome, she was resilient and she did her best to cope with her illness. Loved the story and loved the characters 😊
