I only discovered this author recently and I have been loving her stories 😊 This one was just as good 😊

Hazel Sheppard is a successful photographer is the youngest in her family and the only girl. Which means that she has a over-protective brothers, lol. What she craves is a love that she has witnessed between her parents. But lately it seems like it’s just not going to happen. So… She is taking a ‘permanent’ break from men.

Until a friend of hers dies and leaves her an inheritance. Contingent on the fact that she marries her nephew and stay married for six months. When she meets Gage, she didn’t know he is the same guy she met a while back and the guy she thought about a lot….

I was lucky to read and listen to this story and it was so great. Erin Mallon has always been a favorite narrator of mine. Brandon Francis was very new to me. But I got hooked very quickly. You just knew the minute that Gage and Hazel met that he had something in his past that was holding him back starting a relationship.

Lots of emotions. Lots of laughter and some parts that made you actually want to shed a tear. This author definitely a favourite of mine 😊

Harlow James is a pen name I use to protect my identity as a high school teacher. Keeping those two roles in my life separate is necessary, but also fun! It’s like a live two lives, and anonymity gives me the opportunity to be bold and take risks in my stories.

I stumbled upon romance novels in 2018 when I picked up Driven by Kristy Bromberg, and I was obsessed. I had just lost my grandmother too, so reading offered me an escape from reality and a chance to grieve on my own terms.

About a year later, I got an idea for my own book and started writing. I researched self-publishing and jumped in with both feet. I had no idea what I was doing!

But now I’ve built a business and hobby that I LOVE! I have an outlet that’s just for me. When I write, I’m not a mom, a wife, or a teacher…I’m a woman who gets to tell stories that no one else can.
