Of Lost Things by Ariana Rose

BLURB

It was a fairytale, my fairytale.

I met and married my prince. We created something so special, or at least I thought it was.

All the love I showered on him, sacrifices I made for his career, the time alone raising our daughter wasn't enough to keep him.

He traded in our love story for a cheerleader and divorce papers.

I find myself in a new house, a single mother, with no idea what comes next.

I'm trying so hard to shield our daughter from anything that could hurt her, which includes the thoughts and schemes of a thirteen year old mind.

When trouble finds her, we're met with the kindness of a disarmingly attractive, attentive and much younger police officer, Tyler Mason.

Now I'm left wondering who's in trouble, Mia.... or me?

REVIEW

Nina’s husband was a famous former football player. She has been living her life in the spotlight for years. And even when her daughter was born, she had to live with it. And then she never expected to be starting over, when her husband left her for a cheerleader. And on top it, someone far younger than her.

Now her daughter is acting out and this is how she meets Tyler. She didn’t want another man in her life, and she didn’t need another one.

Tyler thought he was content with his life. His job, spending time with his sister and nephew and niece. When he meets a thirteen-year-old girl, he immediately feels drawn to help her cope with her parents' divorce, and then he meets her mother. And he knows this is his one…

Loved the story, loved Tyler and Nina. I thought her husband was a douche though. And my heart was breaking for her and her daughter and what they were going through. Loved the drama and the romance of the whole story. Lovely story to spend an afternoon reading 😊
