Blurb:

Lola Penelope Caruso is my favorite person to torment. When she’s had enough of me, her freckled cheeks go rosy, her tiny hands ball into fists, and she pulls at her signature tight braid and lets down her long red hair.

I thought I'd seen her at her worst when we told her she’d have to move from New York City to a dump in Jersey with our law firm. But then a six-year-old showed up at my office with a note around his neck and my smile on his face, and she had to ask: Who's your daddy?

Now annoying her isn’t quite as fun.

Apparently my ability to keep plants and fish alive does not mean I’m qualified to raise a child. He's smart and funny, and I'm pretty sure he'll raise me with more success than I can him. Fortunately, we have one thing in common: our infatuation with Lola. Is it possible that she could ever like me as much as she likes him?

REVIEW:

When I started this story, I almost felt like I was lost. Like it just started in the middle of nowhere. But I quickly got hooked onto the story.

Cal came across as such a fun, happy go lucky, takes nothing serious. Which is the total opposite of Lola, who is serious and head strong and wants everything going according to plan. When Cal gets the surprise of his life, an ex-dropping his son off at his office. And the minute he sees the boy, he knows without a doubt that its his son. And from then he goes out of his way to connect with him and it was so endearing. I absolutely loved Cal.

Lola always thought that Cal was just out for a good time, and didn’t take anything serious. And he totally got on her last nerve. But when his son comes into his life, she gets to see a different side to him. And the more time she spends with them, it seems like she totally misjudged him.

The story was so good. I loved Cal and Lola was totally the right person for him. She didn’t take his nonsense and she didn’t let him get away with anything. Their banter was so freaking hilarious that you cant help but just lol. But when they got together, oh boy, HOT HOT HOT!!

This story was the definition of an amazing rom com 😊 Totally loved the story and I am so looking forward to the rest of these guys getting their story 😊
