Haven is the oldest son in his family. And he has taken charge of rebuilding his family's resort after a wilderness fire destroyed it. His also a lawayer and a fire fighter and a single dad... He also use to have a crush on Elsa when they were in high school. He never thought that he would see her again, but her she is....
After being away for many years, Elsa returns to her home in Alaska and finally feels like shes home. While figuring out her life she runs into Haven, and he offers her a place to stay at his family home....
I enjoyed the story, loved the characters. Loved their first connections with the goats and his son, very cute. I loved how Havens family all see him as this grumpy person, but being around Elsa they get to see a different side to him. And his little boy added was just a bonus.
Lots of love, wittiness, fun and lots of emotions. Nothing that stood out much for me. It was just a good read which I will still recommend 💖
