I loved this story. Shane was that quiet, broody alpha type guy. He was in love with his childhood friend forever. But when she got pregnant when they were younger. She decided to marry the guy and he joined the Army.
Now it's years later Amelia is divorced her kids are grown and maybe this is his time to make his move...
One kiss and they knew the chemistry and sexual tension was still there. When Amelia asks him to keep this relationship a secret he agrees, but when the ex shows up, things kind of get out of hand...
I loved this book from the start to the end. Love small town romances, loved the fact that there were part of a group if friends, her kids were older and Shane was head over heels for her. But convincing Amelia that they would be good together was going to take a bit.
This story really made me fall in love with the characters, the town everything was just what you need in a romance story 💖
