Mackenzie Gillman is a widowed single mom. She is determined to reach her goals and to take care of herself and her boys. And she doesn’t need anyone else to make it happen. Until she meets Nate Dixon, and the more she tells herself she doesn’t need anyone in her life, the more she can’t help but want him.


Nate Dixon is a retired military doctor. And he is out to finish a mission that a friend gave him. Just one thing and he is out of the small town of Sunnyville. He just needs to check on his friends wife and kids, make sure they are good and that’s that. But meeting Mackenzie and her boys turned out to be more complicated than he thought. He shouldn’t be getting attached, he should be leaving and going to live his own life…


What a story filled with to much emotion. Nate had his own issues to overcome, but he was patient and loving and he was totally in love with Mackenzie and her boys. Mackenzie was amazing, strong and independent and she knew what she wanted. I loved reading their love story. They had so much love to give and they were totally mean to be 😊
