So almost from the start of this series, these two have been in love, and all through the series Ryder was the one who lost the love of his life. She left for Paris, and he never heard from her again. No answer to messages, no explanations on why she left so abruptly, she was just gone.
And then he gets a message from her on the day of his brother’s wedding that she is back in town. And she wants to talk…
Ryder was the one who was always in the background throughout the books, and I was so looking forward to his story. And when Jordyn came back, I was waiting for a huge revelation on why she left. And at first, I was wow hectic, and throughout the book it was so suspenseful, but it seemed like it kind of fell flat a bit.
Other than that, I loved the fact that as with previous books, the brothers, and wives all banded together to help this couple find their happily ever after. I loved Ryder from the start to the end, Jordyn had to grow on me though. Felt like if she was maybe honest from the start things couldn’t have gone differently, but then we wouldn’t have had their story and all the obstacles they had to overcome to be together 😊
Can’t wait for the next brother. The twins are the last men standing… 😊
