Lucy is a hardworking, teacher, single mom, raising her son all by herself. Her grandma thinks she needs some fun, so she drags her to the firefighter auction and buys her a date. A date with the hot, sexy firefighter Cord.
Cord is enjoying his life. He is loving his bachelor life. And he loves dating around, and he stays away from single moms. Till a grandma buys him as a date for her granddaughter. Meeting Lucy he feels like maybe there can be more, until he finds out that she is a single mom and he starts pulling away from her.
Cord and Lucy were definitely not looking to get involved, but I think they found each other at just the right time. Story was good, easy read and you will definitely get lost in their story from the start to the end.
