Ren broke Trix’s heart when he chose his hockey career over her. But maybe that was a good thing, cause Trix has become a career woman. And she is good at her job, well organized and a multi-tasker like no one else. So, spending one night with Ren now that his back in town after ten years is not a good idea right…
And it was especially not a good idea when that one night brings up other consequences that she might not be ready for…
Ren walked away from Trix ten years ago to pursue his hockey career. He left without saying anything to her and now he is back, hoping that maybe he can get another chance. And this time he won't be walking away because he knows that she is the best thing in his life… Even if he might have to convince her of that…
I love a good accidental pregnancy trope, and this one was an okay read. I loved the dynamic between these two. Ren became such a sweetheart when Trix got pregnant, he totally stepped up for her and took care of her. These two were definitely made for each other. From the minute they walked back into each other lives, you knew they still had chemistry 😊
This story for me, I enjoyed more than the previous ones. It was a more lighthearted story than the previous ones. I felt like I could relax into Trix and Ren’s story and just enjoy their journey. The previous ones I felt like I was on edge the whole time, lol
