I love loved this story. Alice could be my BFF 😊


Alice is a librarian by day and a waitress at night. She has also had a crush on Caleb since she met him. But he never ‘saw’ her. Until the night a customer got handsy and he stepped in to help her. She seized her moment and asked him out. But things didn’t go as she planned when he let her down and said he wasn’t interested in a relationship.


But when she needed him the most, he was the one that stepped in to help her 😊


I loved Alice, she was such great character. She was sweet and loving and she was also a strong person, who knew what she wanted and didn’t hesitate to tell Caleb. I loved that even though her family treated her poorly she was still an amazing person.


Caleb was an awesome dad, and he spent most of his time on his ranch. He would do anything for his son, Jesse. And totally oblivious about everything besides those two things. Until Alice made herself irresistible to him and he can’t stop thinking about her. I loved that he was there when she needed someone the most. And from there their story just got even better.


Loved both characters and the Jesse was adorable. Loved the romance and the bit of suspense thrown in to make the story even better 😊
