Willow met Brett one night while out with her friends. She knew what she was getting into, both of them didn’t want anything but one night of fun.
Then she ends up with a whole lot of fun 9months later. Trying to get ahold of Brett didn’t go well when he basically told her to take a hike. But Willow didn’t want her daughter growing up without knowing her father. So, she goes to his game (as he is a hockey player) and let's just say she was not expecting this second meeting.
Soon Brett is spending time with his daughter and looks like he is infatuated with more than his little girl…
Willow is an amazing mother and I have to say Brett totally stepped up when he found out he was a dad. He did everything in his power to prove to Willow that he wanted more from her than just being the baby’s mother. And it was tough as Willow was adamant, she didn’t want a relationship or get married. But with Brett pulling out all the stops, how could she say No.
Loved the story, loved the characters and the single parent/second chance trope was definitely a good read 😊
