Hana thought she had the perfect job and her life was going great. She was preparing to go on a business when they called an emergency meeting. Only to find out the company is bankrupt. Not only is she losing her job, but she might be deported back to Slovakia. Until her brother’s team mate, the guy she has been having a crush on for a while, Aiden
Aiden is a pro hockey player with the Lauderdale knights. He hasn’t had the best upbringing, and he has some depression issues. But playing hockey helps him cope with his depression. He has been attracted to Hana since he met her. When she needs a little bit of help to stay in the country to find another job, he will be the only one who volunteers for this job…
I loved that these two were friends before anything else happened. And loved that they could talk about things. I felt that Aiden sold himself short and that he had so much more to offer than he thought. I loved how the author handled the whole story around his depression. I felt that these two were so good for each other and complimented each other very well.
Hana was strong, independent and had a soft and sweet side to her as well. Which is why I think they suited each other very well. Loved their story and loved all the characters who just added to the awesome story 😊
