The wolf shifters who serve the small mountain town of Pinehurst live fairly predictable lives. They serve and protect their isolated community where fae, humans, and shifters have peacefully coexisted for decades.
Life is simple in their small town. Shifters are an integral part of the community, serving as a the backbone of local law enforcement, firefighters, and EMS.
The social fabric of Pinehurst is torn apart when an unknown magical force activates long-forgotten magic of shifters: imprinting. What used to be a occurrence so rare it is more legend than fact tears apart the town as one by one each the shifters find themselves irresistibly drawn to their fated mate. They will stop at nothing to claim what is theirs, regardless of the consequences.
Careers, friendships, marriages, laws… none of that matters in their drive to claim the person they are fated to be with.
Will the town survive when the people tasked with keeping law and order are driven by primal urges they can’t control?
REVIEW:
Emma is a sound mage, and she just needs a break from her fast paced life and her nightclub. So she decided to go visit her brother, who lives in a mountain town. Her first night in her brother’s place and she sleeps with his room-mate, who happens to be a wolf shifter.
Ryder who wasn’t into anything permanent, but immediately becomes obsessed and possessive over Emma…
I kind of enjoyed the story, I didn’t like Ryder so much as I felt like he was a real a## to Emma and he really didn’t treat her well. I however loved her best friend James 😊I kind of didn’t know that this was a RH story. And I don’t think its for me… But the story had lots of potential.
REVIEW:
I have to say this one was so much better than the first book. I really loved Owen. For someone who is a wolf shifter he is like a gentle giant.
Caitlin I totally connected with her character. Her past was not a good one, so when she meets Owen, she feels like he is just too good to be true and that she is making another mistake. But he really did everything he could to prove to her that he really is that guy.
Loved the story, loved the characters, and definitely an emotional read 😊
REVIEW:
Calen has had trouble in his past, with how dominant his wolf is and he has learned how to keep his wolf under control especially during the full moon. When he spends a night with a alpha female, Cheyanne, he doesn’t show her his true self. And Cheyanne is looking for someone who can compete with her wolf and dominate her in the bedroom… And for her that was not Calen.
But Calen thinks his found his one, and he will show her that he is definitely the one who can be her match.
This was a shorter read than the previous ones. And I enjoyed it. I don’t read a lot of stories where the woman is the alpha, and this was a change. It took some getting used to, and some parts Cheyanne was a bit much for me. But overall, the story was a good fun steamy read 😊
